SAP Fiori defines a new standard for look and feel of the enterprise system built on top of the UI5 technology platform. SAP delivers more than 1,000 standard applications in Fiori, most available with S/4 HANA, that simplify and improve business processes for most users. Customizing existing Fiori applications is possible in some cases by business users or others may require more technical enhancements. In addition, SAP Fiori Elements provides a simple framework of pre-defined layouts and controls to build custom applications that can rapidly scale your business needs and ideas into functioning solutions.

For more complex scenarios often required by power users, fully customizable UI5 applications can be built to meet the needs of each business as appropriate. Like SAP Fiori, SAP delivers some standard UI5 applications with S/4 HANA.

SAP Screen Personas can be utilized by business or technical users to alter existing SAP GUI screens by merging tabs, removing/adding fields or adding additional logic via javascript to enable extra features. With the Slipstream rendering engine for SAP Screen Personas, virtually any GUI transaction can be launched via Fiori Launchpad and converted to a mobile friendly format.
