Keeping track of Real Estate inventory, capital costs and performance data is a key feature of a modern Real Estate Portfolio. Makitran has successfully implemented Real Estate solutions integrated across multiple modules of SAP including Assets, Real Estate, Enterprise Asset Management (formerly Plant Maintenance), and the Financial and Controlling modules. How does it work?

The SAP Real Estate module contains capabilities for portfolio management including Buildings, Structures and Land. It has capabilities for tracking both owned or otherwise managed assets as well as Leasing portfolios (in or out). In addition, the Real Estate platform has capabilities for vacancy management, usage, cost distributions, common area maintenance, integrations with CAD or GIS programs.

The Real Estate module is tightly integrated with other core SAP modules including Finance for internal charging, payments and collections of Leases, Asset management for both owned and leased assets (including IFRS 16 / ASC 842 compliant Contracts), Enterprise Asset Management and managerial accounting through the Controlling module.
